Our 2014 Summer of Adventure!

July 8 – 19
Two Dumb Dogs: The Adventures of Ferdo & Floof
by Edith Weiss

This comedy is a funny story with lessons that include discovering self confidence, using your brain, and recognizing that following the rules is sometimes a good thing. Ferdo and Floof are two not-very-bright dogs. Tired of listening to their owner Roger, Ferdo and Floof decide to run away and seek fame and fortune on their own. Despite the warnings of a wise old owl, they head into an enchanted forest. There they encounter a cursed Prince, a wicked Queen, a beautiful poodle, and the legendary Dog Shouter. Ferdo and Floof must rally their brainpower to save the day and find their way back home. Two Dumb Dogs runs July 8th through July 12th and July 15th through July 19th with performances at 11:00a.m. in Amazon Park.

Directed by Jacob Rorem

July 29 – August 9
The Jungle Book
by Tim Kelly

Come see this children’s classic with all the characters you love. Mowgli, the jungle boy raised by wolves, and his good friends Baloo, the bear, Bagheera, the panther and Kaa, the python snake. See them battle the man eating tiger, Shere Khan, and the silly Monkey King in search of fire. The audience gets in on the fun as well, playing monkeys and elephants, bees, and even rainstorms. Adapted from the childrenʼs classic by Rudyard Kipling. The Jungle Book runs July 29th through July August 2nd and August 5th through August 9th with performances at 11:00a.m. in Amazon Park.

Directed by Jamie Lynn Nathan
