Welcome new students and greetings returning Robot Makers! Join this club as a beginning enthusiast robot maker or return as an experienced robot developer seeking to master additional challenges.
For new students this is for you: All of you have played with Legos but have you ever built a robot and made it do what you want? It’s easy to make your little brother or sister spin in circles, but can you make a robot go through a maze? Would you like to design, build and program robots to bend to your will? Find out what motion, light and touch sensors are. Start thinking like a robot!
For returning students: Steve has new challenges prepared! Learn more about precision measurement using multiple sensors and articulating grabber arms to precisely retrieve and relocate objects. Build on your skills to create an AWESOME robot.
For all: At the end of the session, prepare yourself and your robot to battle your classmates until only one intelligent, strategic robot remains standing!
