UO Community Music Institute – Suzuki Strings and Toddler Music and Movement

The UO Community Music Institute is now enrolling students for its Suzuki Strings and toddler music and movement classes!Â
Join our community of families supporting their children in the joy, self-discipline, and self-expression of music making.
We have three upcoming events for interested families:
• Join us at a free, introductory class for parents and preschool-aged children on September 16 at 5:30 p.m. in room 190 at the School of Music and Dance.
Parents and children together will engage in playful music and movement and beginning violin activities, enjoy brief performances by students in our program, and have a chance to ask questions of our faculty. Light refreshments will be served. This is a great chance to decide whether your child would benefit most from toddler music or Suzuki lessons this fall.
All are welcome, but please contact us to sign up: space is limited.
• Our first parent class for new Suzuki Strings families is Tuesday, September 20 at 6 p.m. Please contact us to sign up.
• If you can’t attend the introductory or parent class, please join us at our Open House: 9:00 a.m. at the School of Music and Dance (meet in the East Lounge). All are welcome: no need to sign up.Â
